The concept of Bio Village 2.0 developed by the state government has been recognized as one of the best practices to attain sustainable development goals. HDFC ERGO to build online insurance platform on Google Cloud

HDFC ERGO General Insurance has roped in Google Cloud to build an online platform for selling insurance.

HDFC ERGO plans to completely migrate to the cloud by 2024.

Google Cloud will also assist the insurance provider with IT systems integration and building new applications.

Google will also provide them AI/ML technologies to build predictive insights and mitigate insurance fraud.

Rajasthan is set to launch the country’s first employment guarantee scheme for the urban poor named Indira Gandhi Shehari Rojgar Guarantee Yojana.
It will start on September 9th with a budget of Rs 800 crore. The scheme aims to provide 100 days of guaranteed employment to the urban poor, especially those who lost their jobs during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Justice D Y Chandrachud, the second senior-most judge in the Supreme Court, has been nominated as executive chairman of the National Legal Services Authority.
President Droupadi Murmu nominated Justice Chandrachud to head the NALSA as executive chairman under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987. The Chief Justice of India is the patron-in-chief of the NALSA.

UIDAI topped Grievance Redressal Index in August 2022

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has topped among all Ministries and Departments in resolving Public Grievances for the month of August 2022.

UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) has been a top performer in the resolution of cases received through the Centralized Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS).

UIDAI has a robust grievance redressal mechanism in place comprising of UIDAI HQ Divisions, Regional Offices, Technology Centre, and engaged Contact Centre partners, which is enabling UIDAI to resolve around 92% of CRM Grievances within 7 days.

Cyrus Mistry was an Indian-born Irish businessman who was killed on September 4, 2022, in a car accident. He was the former Chairperson of Tata Group from 2012 to 2016.
