EaseMyTrip (Easy Trip Planners Ltd), an online travel company in India has appointed Bollywood actors Vijay Raaz and Varun Sharma as its brand ambassadors. This is the first time for EaseMyTrip to appoint any brand ambassador. Vijay Raaz is an Indian actor, director, film narrator, and comedian from Delhi. Varun Sharma is an Indian actor from Punjab.

The Indian Army has established the Quantum Lab at the Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCTE), in Military Headquarters Of War (Mhow), Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The Quantum Lab was established with the support of the National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) to spearhead research and training in this key developing field. Russia has successfully launched its 3rd and final demonstration flight of the Angara-A5/ Persey rocket from the state test cosmodrome of the Russian Defence Ministry – Site 35/ 1 Plesetsk cosmodrome, Mirny, Arkhangelsk Oblast, Russia. The Angara is being developed and built by the Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center in Moscow, Russia. This marks the 3rd launch of the rocket after its maiden launch in 2014.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation of the Rs 6,700-crore Renukaji Dam project from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi.
Once completed, the project on the Giri river is expected to generate 200 million units of energy in a 40 MW surface power house. The storage capacity of the dam would be 498 million cubic meters which would fulfill about 40 percent of the drinking water requirement of Delhi.
