Payal Jangid, an Indian teenager, received the Changemaker Award at the Goalkeepers Global Goals Awards that was held in New York. This award recognized her campaign in which she had aimed to end child labor and child marriage. The award was presented to her by the “Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation”. Payal has served as the President of her village’s Children’s Parliament (Bal Panchayat).
