Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Prime Ministers’ Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM-CARES) fund on 28 March to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. Prime Minister will be the Chairman of the trust and its Members include Defence Minister, Home Minister and Finance Minister.
