On October 28, 2019, a new book titled “The Unquiet River: A biography of the Brahmaputra” by historian Arupjyoti Saikia is to be released. The book which will be published by Oxford University Press (OUP), portrays the landscape of Assam valley and the livelihoods around, that shaped the river.
