The President of the United States has appointed Indian American Manisha Singh as the new envoy to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)). Manisha Singh earlier served as the Acting Under Secretary of Economic Growth, Energy and Environment and is currently holding the position as the Assistant Secretary of State for Economic and Business Affairs at the State Department.
