The HCARD robotic device has been developed by the Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute of Durgapur. HCARD stands for Hospital Care Assistive Robotic device and will help in preventing and controlling the spread of the COVID19 among doctors by maintaining physical distancing, which will minimize the interaction between the COVID19 patients and Doctors. The device has been built using State of The Art technology and can be operated in both manual and automatic mode.
