On November 27, 2019 the Indian Army (IA) has successfully test fired two newly-acquired Spike LR (long-range) anti-tank missiles at the Infantry School at Mhow, Madhya Pradesh (MP). It is an Israeli fire-and-forget anti-tank guided 4th generation missile with target range of upto 4 kilometres. The missile has the ability to fire, observe and update, providing substantial flexibility to the firer to pinpoint the impact point. It also has the ability to switch to a different target mid-flight.
