Appointment Committee of the Cabinet(ACC) approved the appointment of Sumit Deb as the Chairman and Managing Director of the National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) till 28th February 2023, the date of his superannuation. Sumit Deb who is currently serving as the Director (Personnel) in NMDC, will take charge as the CMD of NMDC on or after August 1, 2020.
