On September 30, 2018, A report — ‘Reinvigorating Trade and Inclusive Growth’ — was released by the International Monetary Fund (IMF),World Bank and World Trade Organization. This report seeks to identify areas where trade has the potential of contributing productivity for economic growth. According to the report, full services trade liberalisation could raise manufacturing productivity by an average of 22 per cent across a sample of 57 countries. Better access and reliability of the manufacturing sector brought investment in new opportunities and technologies and helped in enhancing business services and coordination with customers.
