The Mata Vaishno Devi shrine, a religious pilgrimage atop the Trikuta hills in Reasi district of Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) will get a dedicated in-house disaster response force by September 2020.The MoU (Memorandum of Understanding ) was signed between the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) to impart advanced disaster management training to the shrine board staff in batches to prepare a dedicated disaster response force for the shrine.
